You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Paracel Islands
Albania is a relatively tiny but cute country in the Balkans, close to Montenegro. Albania is probably the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is slowly changing as more and more people start to take note of its amazing sites. This country has exceptional, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievable. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You can hang out in the hot dry sun on a towel or pay for a bed, the choice is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and some are so remote that you could be at the beach alone, even in spring and summer.
There are many exquisite mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can also find a few waterfalls and pristine lakes in the region. Those mountains are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture so there are plenty of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Elbasan are worth visiting to visit the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are extremely welcoming and will be excited to show you around their country if you take the time to visit.
