You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Ashmore and Cartier Islands

Albania is a relatively small but very beautiful country on the Mediterranean, neighbouring Croatia. This country is one of the less often visited European countries but that is starting to change as tourists start to take notice of its fantastic sites. This country has exceptional, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and lively, expanding cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are beautiful. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches also. You could if you like lie in the bright sun on a rug or pay for a sun bed, the choice is yours. Plenty of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreign tourists and a couple are so quiet that you could be at the beach alone, even in during the peak season.

There are plenty of mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find at least a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are great to see but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of local cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Shkodra are worth seeing to visit the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.

Most Albanian people are mostly warm and welcoming and will be more than glad to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
