You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Fiji
Albania is a relatively small but very adorable country on the Mediterranean, fairly close to Montenegro. This country is currently one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is starting to change as more and more travellers start to take note of its wonderful sites. This country has unbelievably beautiful, clean sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and trendy, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are amazing. Albanian beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could if you want lie in the warm sun on a towel or rent a sunbed, the choice is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are practically untouched by foreigners and some are so remote that you can have the beach all to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are numerous exquisite mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you are able to see at least a couple of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are amazing to see but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture leading to many hip cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Vlora are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unusual old city area and also to visit a few museums.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are extremely warm and will be more than glad to show you their country if you take the time to visit.
