Albania is a very small but great country in south eastern Europe, near Serbia. It is currently one of the less popular European countries but that will change before you know it as tourists come to appreciate its wonderful beauty. It has beautiful, clean sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, changing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. Albanian beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could if you like lie in the hot sun on a rug or rent a sun bed, the option is yours. A lot of the beaches are practically untouched by tourists and some are so quiet that you can have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in August.
There are plenty of fantastic mountain places in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can also view quite a few waterfalls and clean lakes in the area. These mountains are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of cool cafes to hang out in. Albania cities for example Durres are worth taking the time to visit to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
Albanian people are mostly warm and welcoming and will be excited to present to you their country if you spend time there.
