Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Kuwait

Albania is a fairly small but beautiful country in the Balkans, close to Italy. Albania is quite possibly the least visited European countries but that is starting to change as tourists appreciate its splendour. This country has exceptional, sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are fantastic. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You could if you like hang out in the bright sun on a mat or lease a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a couple are so out of the way that you could possibly have the beach to yourself, even in summer.

There are a number of exquisite mountain landscapes in Albania. These areas in the north are fabulous for skiing or hiking and you can view quite a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.

Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture leading to plenty of local cafes to go to. Albania cities such as Shkodra are worth spending time in to view the historic old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.

Most Albanian people are extremely hospitable and will be more than happy to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
