Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Yemen
Albania is a tiny but fantastic country in southern Europe, fairly close to Croatia. It’s one of the least visited countries in Europe but that is most definitely changing as people come to appreciate its wonderful attractions. This country has amazing, clean sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and trendy, growing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. The beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could if you like sit in the warm sun on a mat or lease a bed, the choice is up to you to make. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a couple are so quiet that you could quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in during the peak season.
There are many mountainous areas in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can visit a few waterfalls and clean lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in plenty of local cafes to go to. Albania cities such as Berat are worth spending time in to visit the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that Albanians are very welcoming and will be more than pleased to introduce you to their country if you are there.
