Holiday in Albania Not French Southern and Antarctic Lands
Albania is a little but cute country in the Balkan region, close to Italy. This country is one of the least visited Mediterranean countries but that will change before you know it as more and more travellers notice its wonderful beauty. Albania has gorgeous, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and bustling, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are extraordinary. They are most often white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches too. You can if you like hang out in the warm sun on a mat or pay for a sunbed, the choice is up to you. A lot of the beaches are more or less untouched by tourists and some are so quiet that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are quite a few mountainous landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find a few waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are fabulous to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture so there are plenty of local cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Berat are worth spending a few days in to see the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that Albanians are very warm and will be more than glad to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
