Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Slovakia
Albania is a very small but fantastic country in south eastern Europe, neighbouring Macedonia. This country is one of the less popular European countries but that is about to change as more and more travellers appreciate its amazing attractions. It has wonderful, sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. These beaches are usually white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could spend time in the bright sun on a mat or pay for a sun bed, the option is yours to make. Many of the beaches are really untouched by tourists and some are so quiet that you can possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in summer.
There are numerous mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find a couple of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture so there are heaps of trendy cafes to spend time in. Albania cities such as Berat are worth seeing to visit the historic old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
Albanian people are very warm and welcoming and will be more than happy to show you their country if you take the time to visit.
