You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than French Guiana
Albania is a fairly small but cute country in south eastern Europe, close to Macedonia. This country is probably the least visited European countries but that has already started to change as more people start to take note of its wonderful sites. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and young, growing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. These are usually white, sandy beaches although there are a few pebble beaches as well. You can lie in the warm dry sun on a towel or rent a sun lounge, the option is up to you to make. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a couple are so out of the way that you could possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in during peak times.
There are a number of beautiful mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can see many waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are great to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are heaps of cool cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Durres are worth taking the time to visit to see the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
Most Albanian people are mostly welcoming and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
