You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Bermuda
Albania is a tiny but pretty country in the Balkans, fairly close to Macedonia. Albania is one of the least visited southern European countries but that is most definitely changing as more and more people appreciate its wonderful attractions. This country has gorgeous, white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and young, changing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are exceptional. They are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a handful of pebble beaches also. You can if you like have fun in the warm dry sun on a mat or hire a bed, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are really untouched by tourists and a couple are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are many mountainous regions in Albania. These areas in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can also visit many waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. These mountains are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of cool cafes to spend time in. Albania cities like Tirana are worth seeing to visit the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are very warm and welcoming and will be more than glad to take you around their country if you spend time there.
