You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Luxembourg
Albania is a fairly small but great country on the Mediterranean, very close to Italy. This country is currently one of the less popular southern European countries but that is starting to change as travellers realise its beauty. Without a doubt Albania has amazing, white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are exceptional. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches except there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You could have fun in the hot dry sun on a blanket or lease a sun bed, the option is yours to make. A lot of the beaches are pretty much untouched by visitors and a handful are so remote that you could have the beach all to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are a number of mountainous regions in Albania. The mountains in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit plenty of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are great to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture resulting in so many great cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Fier are worth spending time in to see the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Albanian people are very hospitable and will be pleased to take you around their country if you spend some time there.
