Albania is a little but very cute country on the Mediterranean, near Kosovo. This country is one of the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is about to change as more people start to appreciate its amazing sites. This country has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are fantastic. These are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches too. You can either lie down in the hot dry sun on a rug or pay for a bed, the option is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and a couple are so quiet that you can have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are plenty of beautiful mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view at least a few waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are amazing to view but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture resulting in many busy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Fier are worth seeing to view the unique old city area and also to visit a museum.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are very warm and welcoming and will be more than pleased to show you their country if you are there.
